History
Financial Management Services was formed in 1993 by Dr Ken Hayden and was initially a member of IFA Network Limited (which has subsequently become Sesame Limited). Initially, FMS consisted of Ken Hayden working from home under the guidance of the Network.
In 1996 FMS leased offices at Garston House and Ken Hayden was joined by other advisers.
IFA network continued to expand and its working practices became unacceptable to Dr Hayden. As a consequence, Financial Management Services left the Network and became directly regulated in 2002. We wanted to maintain contact and a "group" atmosphere with like minded IFAs and so Acuma Asset Management became our first appointed representative at the same time as we left the Network.
FMS continued to expand and took on a number of new consultants working from Garston House. At the same time we expanded out Appointed Representative Network to 9 companies and some 26 advisers.
Now Financial Management Services Ltd has disbanded the appointed representatives and has all of its advisers working with the one company. The advantage of this is that we can offer a streamlined service to our individual clients wherever you are in the country, offering high quality advice in a uniform process.
We now look to the future to expand Financial Management Services Ltd with the same services that our clients are currently receiving.
